#Ramayan: क्या राम ने खाये थे शबरी के झूठे बेर?

रामानंद सागर की रामायण में शबरी के राम मिलान वाला एपिसोड Youtube पे देख रहा था। रामानंद जी ने रामकथा बहुत साफ़, सहज, और दिल छू लेने वाले भाव से बनायी है, पर शबरी वाला एपिसोड थोड़ा थोड़ा आँखों में चुबता है।

शबरी कहती है "हे राम मुझे नीच कुल में उत्त्पन ये शरीर छोड़ने की आज्ञा देने से पहले मुझे भक्ति का ज्ञान प्रदान करो प्रभु।" उसके बाद राम शबरी को नवदा भक्ति के बारे में बताते है।

रामानंद की रामायण के मखमली क़ालीन जैसी लगती है। शबरी का बार बार खुद को 'नीच' कहने वाले संवाद इस मखमली क़ालीन पर टाट के पैबंद जैसे लगते है।

#Ramayan: कैसे हुआ था सीता का जन्म?

आज बैसाख मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की नवमी तिथि है, पौराणिक ग्रंथों के अनुसार आज के दिन सीता की उत्पत्ति हुई थी।

आज कही पढ़ा 'धार्मिक मान्यता है कि इस दिन प्रभु श्रीराम और माता जानकी को विधि-विधान पूर्वक पूजा आराधना करने से व्रती को अमोघ फल की प्राप्ति होती है साथ ही व्रती को मनोवांछित फलों की भी प्राप्ति होती है'। 

थोड़ा हास्यास्पद लगा, जन्मदिन सीता का और पूजा राम के साथ? बताये ज़रा क्या ऐसी कोई धार्मिक मान्यता है जो कहती हो राम नवमी के दिन राम-सीता की पूजा या फिर जन्माष्टमी के दिन कृष्णा के साथ राधा की आराधना करना चाहिए? खैर जाने दीजिये, पुरुष प्रधान समाज में ऐसा मुमकिन कहा?

कभी समय मिले तो वाल्मीकि रामायण पढ़ियेगा, पुरुष प्रधानता की अनेक मिसाल मिल जायेगी।

शायद इसीलिए वाल्मीकि जी ने सर्ग ६६(छियासठ) में सिर्फ दो श्लोको (१३-१४) में सीता की उत्पत्ति के बारे में संक्षेप में वर्णन किया है, हलाकि राम जन्म विस्तार में बताया गया है।

नवधा भक्ति क्या है?

‘नवधा’ का अर्थ है नौ प्रकार से या नौ भेद। अतः ‘नवधा भक्ति’ यानी ‘नौ प्रकार से भक्ति’। कहते है इस भक्ति का विधिवत पालन करने से भक्त भगवान को प्राप्त कर सकता है।  

नवधा भक्ति दो युगों में दो लोगों द्वारा कही गई है। सतयुग में, प्रह्लाद ने पिता हिरण्यकशिपु से कहा था। फिर त्रेतायुग में, श्री राम ने माँ शबरी से कहा था। 

रामचरितमानस के अरण्यकाण्ड में, श्री राम ने माँ शबरी को नवधा भक्ति समझाते है। आइये जानिए नवधा भक्ति की चौपाई एवं उनके अर्थ

Bengali girl Debina Bonnerjee, shot to fame by gracefully portraying Sita Maa in NDTV Imagine's 'Ramayan'. Later she added another feather in her cap when she signed SAB TV's Chidiya Ghar, from which she has taken a diametrically opposite leap. The lovable actress has left no stone unturned to put her best foot forward on the sixth instalment of popular celebrity dance reality show 'Nach Baliye' and then in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi-5 . She talked in a charming manner when we called her. Excerpts:

Let us start from the upbringing, how was Debina as a child?
I was a horrible tomboy at home. I used to bring stray puppies at home and spill liquid detergent all over in the bathroom, so that I can to do skating. My parents were irritated because of me. Nevertheless in school, I was well behaved shy type of girl. I was good in studies and used to take part in extracurricular activities.

Tell us a bit about your family background?
I came from a decent, well educated, very traditional family of North Calcutta. We are descendant of Womesh Chandra Bonnerjee, who was the first chairman of the Indian national congress.

Do you always wanted to become an actor?
I've became an actress now but never in my wildest nightmare had I thought I'd get the chance to join glamour world. But as I grew up my career preferences changed every year. Vocally I wanted to become an IAS officer.

As a kid who was the biggest influence on you, who encouraged you to pursue a career in showbiz?
I got inspiration from Sushmita Sen. When she had won Miss Universe in 1994, her pictures came in all newspapers and magazines. That's when the idea was born, that I wanted to be miss universe. I was too fascinated. I wanted to be like her but was too young to express myself.

When I was in class 9th I told my parents that I wanted to became an actress. They were very supportive and helped me take part in a beauty contest in Kolkata. After that I gradually started getting offers for films and TV shows. I was too young at that time, so I did a few Bengali tele-films. I came to Mumbai after completing my graduation. Then I went to Bhavan's College for a diploma course in public relations. Soon after completing my graduation from there, I auditioned for Sagar productions Ramayan. Luckily I got selected.

What is the most devastating part of being an actress?  
We can't be with family in need. My grandma passed away and I couldn’t be there on time to be with her. It was too late.

If you would play any other character in any other serial, what would it be?
I definitely want to play Parvati Bhabhi's character of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. It was an iconic show, where Sakshi Tanwar beautifully portrayed different shades of women in a single character.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt in your journey so far?
We live our life once and we should not forget our family while running after money.

Even after 3 years of marriage you are head over heel in love with Gurmeet (Choudhary). What is it that makes you two click?
We are poles apart, yet so alike. Our love and admiration for each other is increasing day by day. With every passing year, we rediscover our fondness and admiration for each other. I think that’s makes us click.

Fans often accused you because of your publically displayed affection with Gurmeet. Do you like say anything?
Are you serious? Do they really assume so? I think we are reserved and controlled.  Since we are a couple, so in any public event or party or any other function we walk hand in hand. And I don't see anything wrong in doing so. You will never see us getting cosy or kissing in public.

How would you describe your personal sense of style?
I would say my personal style is simple, elegant and sophisticated in a casual way

Who is your fashion icon?
When I was a kid I was fascinated with Sushmita Sen. But now I don't have any particular fashion icon

What is the one fashion item in your wardrobe you can’t do without?
I have an addiction to shoes; you can say I'm a shoe-aholic. If you ask me how many pairs of shoes do I have? My answer would be, I count by full closets instead.

As I already told above, I want to play Parvati Bhabhi's of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.

Debina’s dream actor to work with…

I unquestionably want to work with Shahrukh Khan. And if you ask me why? My answer would be, ‘because he is THE SRK.’

Debina’s fitness mantra…
Eat proper at a regular interval, exercise at least once in a day. According to me, fitness is not about being size zero but foremost a healthy life and being in a jolly and encouraging state of mind.

Debina’s beauty mantra…
Put less makeup as possible and clean it before going to bed.

Debina’s fashion funda…
Shoes must be nice and perfectly coordinated with your outfit or there is no real reason to go out. It’s a fashion faux pass when the wrongly selected shoes ruin a striking outfit you are wearing.

When Debina is free she loves to…
I love to read books. But these days whenever I get time I start playing Candy-Crush. It’s a highly addictive game.

The real Debina is...
Debina is loving, carefree and practical girl.

Future plans…
(She pointed up in the sky) I left my plans to the God. He is the best planner and I am willing to accept whatever ‘he’ give.

Currently Ramayan track is shown in Triangle Film Company's ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’. The makers are looking suitable face to play Ram and Laxman.  Piyush Sahdev is finalized to play the lord Ram, now we heard Kunal Verma is shortlisted to play Laxman.  Kunal was last seen in Havan.

Kunal remained unavailable to comment.

Lord Shiv will be seen narrating Ram Khata to Parvati in Ramayan

"Mein Samay hoon”, remember this dialogue from BR Chopra’s epic show Mahabarat? Amrit Sagar(grandson of Ramanand Sagar) is trying to bring that magic again in Ramayan. Lord Shiv will be show’s sutradhar (narrator). He will be seen narrating Ram Khata to Parvati.

Santosh Shukla, who was last seen as Maharaj Virendra Singh in ‘Kahani Chandrakanta Ki’, is offered to play Shiv in Ramayan.  However, he had to decline the offer as due to other commitments.

When contacted, Santosh said, “I have been approached to play Shiv, but I couldn't take it up as I started shooting for my upcoming film."

So any regrets? "I do not regret at all because right now my priority is to complete my films," he clarifies.

Rishabh Shukla and Shikha Swaroop are shortlisted to essay the role of King Dasharath and Kaikeyi respectively.

Excited Rishabh said, "I glad to get this opportunity, it’s something which will never lose its essence no matter how many times it is made.”

Neha Sargam might bag the role of Sita. According to sources it will be a toss-up between Aamir Dalvi and Gagan Malik for the role of Ram,  Neil Bhatt has been approached for the role of Lakshman, while Sunita Rajwar will be seen as Manthra.

Ramayan is supposed to go on air from August 12th.

Shikha Swaroop makes a comeback with 'Ramayan'

She shot to fame with her victory at the Miss India pageant in 1988 and made a distinct mark on viewers' minds as the lead of Chandrakanta and then vanished without a trace for the longest time.

Those who thought that this promising actress with oodles of grace and beauty shouldn't have just faded away into oblivion can rejoice as Shikha Swaroop makes a comeback in Zee TV's much talked-about mythological series 'Ramayan'.

Confirming the news, Swaroop said, `Yes, I've been signed on to play Kaikeyi in Zee TV's Ramayan. With this show, I'm told Zee is planning to bring back the whole Sunday morning TV viewing experience for the whole family and I think that's a great idea."

"I am excited about my role of Kaikeyee as essaying a warrior queen with shades of grey calls for an air of regality, poise that comes only with power, strength of character and a stern, steely body language."

"As a former beauty pageant winner and a model, I have, over the years, imbibed the art of composing my body language and carrying myself in a manner that projects the right image required for any role I play. I will enjoy playing such an iconic mythological character and hope to add my own charm and individuality to it,` she said.

About the casting of Kaikeyi, producer Meenakshi Sagar said, `I think Shikhaji will lend tremendous grace and dignity to Kaikeyi. She is a veteran actress whose previous work we have great regard for. Almost 25 years after being crowned Miss India, she is as stunning as ever even today. We look forward to a glorious association with her through this show.”

Ramayan premieres on August 12.
