जब भी मुंबई के जुहू इस्कॉन जाना होता है, वहाँ कोई कोना पकड़ कर बैठ जाता हु। कुछ देर, कभी कभी तो कुछ घंटो तक वहाँ आँख बंद करके बैठा रहता हु, ऐसे करने से बहुत आनंद की अनुभूति होती है मुझे। 

कुछ दिन पहले इस्कॉन जाना हुआ, हमेशा की तरह एक कोने में आँखें बंद करके मैं जाने किस सोच में गुम था। अचानक किसी फ़िल्मी गाने की आवाज़ से तन्द्रा टूटी। 

मेरे पास बैठी एक लड़की ने जाने किस खुमारी में अपने मोबाइल पर इंस्टाग्राम खोल लिया था, कोई रील देख रही थी शायद। संयोग से वॉल्यूम भी फुल था, और गाना बज उठा 'सबकी बारातें आयी डोली तू भी लाना'। सलमान खान, उर्मिला मातोंडकर की फिल्म 'जानम समझा करो' का गाना था।  

आस पास वाले कुछ लोग उस बेचारी लड़की को घूर कर देखने लगे और मुझे हसी आ गयी। मैं सोचने लगा क्या ये गाना हम कृष्णा के लिए गा सकते है? 

'सबकी बारातें आयी डोली तू भी लाना, दुल्हन बनाके हमको कान्हा जी ले जाना'।

जैसा की मैंने पिछले साल भी लिखा था, पता नहीं ये सब कितना सच है पर देवीभागवत पुराण के अनुसार नवरात्रि के दौरान मां दुर्गा का आगमन भविष्य में होने वाली घटनाओं के संकेत के रूप में भी देखा जाता है।  कुछ बातों का कोई प्रमाण नहीं होता, बस एक विश्वास होता है जो अक्सर कुछ बातें आँखें मूँद के मान लेने पर विवश करता है।

Why we should lower our eyes, while we raise our hands to help others?

Abdul Rahim Khan-e-Khana(अब्दुल रहीम खान-ए-खाना), who was one of the Navaratnas of Akbar's court was a great poet and an astrologer. Although he was a Muslim, but he was known for his excellent Hindi couplets (Dohe) and a great devotee of Lord Krishna.

He does lots of charity and used to give money and food to the poor and needy people. He was so generous that he never looked at the person to whom he was giving alms, keeping his gaze downwards in all humility.
